I painted the two policemen. I’ll probably touch them up some more before I call them done, and I want to make the OSL stronger on the scene as a whole, but I’m making progress.
And the rat is too big. I tried sculpting one, but it was a mess. I think I’ll probably just pull him off and put some trash there instead.
Honestly, I’d leave the Rat large. It is a Chinese symbol of fertility, stubborn determination, intelligence, etc… Frankly, i think having it a bit large in your diorama will resonate with a Chinese audience.
Huh, I didn’t even think of that! Alright, then, he can stay!
Any ideas on how to strengthen the OSL?
Unless it is just the picture, I think is is just too green in tone. I’d either add more yellow or white to the lamps and the scene lighting.
The light actually is yellow, but I used some blue in the shadows, which is probably why it looks green. Thanks for that feedback! I’ll take a look at the overall composition and try to see how those colors are playing together to give it a greenish hue.
