The sword whites need to come up even brighter, and the hair still needs work. I think I’ll paint all of those unpainted magic wands she has stashed in various pockets as either metal or wood, with gems at the top, in various colors within my palette.
I have a minor casting complaint about the bottom part of the rod. You can see it in the photo – it’s pitted, which I may try to fill with some liquid green stuff if I find it detracts too much. I really hate finding prepping flaws this late in a project, but it happens.
And that hard shadow on the back of the sword is an actual shadow from the jacket – it’s not painted that way. (I need to make sure my photography lighting accounts for that from now on…)
The yellow “orbs” are great, they look like glass. :O)
