Draconid Finished

By Joy Schoenberger on October 8, 2011

This Dark Sword figure originally came with two swords, but I converted it to spiked chain to use as a gaming mini for a friend. You can find more photos in my gallery.

Draconid WIP6

By Joy Schoenberger on September 29, 2011

This part of the mini is pretty much done now. The wings are next, but I won’t be getting to do any more painting until late next week, so you won’t see much from me for a bit.

Draconid WIP5

By Joy Schoenberger on September 22, 2011

Draconid WIP4

By Joy Schoenberger on September 15, 2011

By Joy Schoenberger on September 8, 2011

I spent some more time fitzing around with the face and playing with the NMM. I’m glad I don’t have a deadline on this one, because it’s slow-going.

Draconid WIP 2

By Joy Schoenberger on September 6, 2011

In typical Joy fashion, I sat down for a couple hours of painting, and ended up doing very little new work, and instead going over the parts I’d already done. Nitpicky me!

Draconid WIP 1

By Joy Schoenberger on September 5, 2011

Now I’m painting this Draconid Warrior by Dark Sword.  He’ll be a gaming figure, and I’m converting him to spiked chain, which is why he has no hands.  Those will be attached and painted after the body is done, so that the chain won’t get in the way while I’m working on him.  The figure has […]
